El blauet (Alcedo atthis) té unes potes petites amb unes dimensions molt particulars i, per aquest motiu, es marquen amb unes anelles de mida especial. A més de les mides, les seves potes presenten una altra particularitat: la pell del tars és molt diferent de la d’altres ocells . No és escatosa i és molt més sensible, fet que ha provocat que s’arribi a qüestionar la idoneïtat del seu anellament.
Per evitar la possibilitat de fer ferides a la pell sensible del tars degut al fregament continu amb l’anella, molts anelladors anellen aquesta espècie a la tíbia.
La captura d’un control d’aquesta espècie anellada a tíbia fa cinc anys, m’ha permès veure de primera mà uns efectes de l’anella sobre la pota que segurament haurien acabat provocant una infecció a l’ocell.
Tot i que cinc anys són un temps considerable, no és justificable que produeixin unes lesions d’aquest tipus i per això em qüestiono molt seriosament si és oportú anellar aquesta espècie.

El martín pescador (Alcedo atthis) tiene unas pequeñas patas de dimensiones muy particulares y, por este motivo, se marcan con anillas de una medida especial. A parte de las medidas, sus patas presentan otra particularidad: la piel de su tarso es muy diferente a la de otras aves. No es escamosa y es mucho más sensible hecho que ha provocado que se llegue a cuestionar la idoneidad de su anillamento.
Pera evitar la posibilidad de producir heridas en la piel sensible del tarso debido al rozamiento continuo con la anilla, muchos anilladores anillan a esta especie en tibia.
La captura de un control de esta especie anillado hace cinco años me ha permitido constatar unos efectos de la anilla sobre la tibia que, seguramente, hubieran llegado a producir una infección.
Aunque cinco años son un tiempo considerable, no es justificación para unas lesiones de este tipo y por este motivo me cuestiono muy seriamente si es oportuno anillar a esta especie.
